AP– A man who spent 23 years in prison for a homicide he didnt commit has been exonerated and is now seeking compensation. The Wisconsin Claims Board has agreed to pay a Milwaukee man $25,000 dollars for the wrongful conviction. The board has also agreed to ask the State Legislature for an additional $90,000 dollars in compensation for Robert Lee Stintson. Stintson was convicted in 1985 in the death a 63-year-old Milwaukee woman. New DNA evidence help set him free.
