It is time to immediately release all prisoners to their families that are either non-violent offenders or who have served a reasonable portion of their sentence and proven themselves to be rule abiding inmates within the prison in which they are housed for a reasonable period of time in which their likelihood to become law abiding citizens outweighs their likely propensity to commit the crime in which they had committed. Example: Prisoner convicted of murdering their child (1998), sentenced to 100 years imprisonment, has served 22 years, all of which were rule abiding within the prison with no serious disciplinary actions taken against them. And has a place to go and be harbored by family during and after the Covid virus threat passes.
